The 3k 8w is BRIGHT. They were actually too bright for the application, ceiling-to-floor. I moved them to a bathroom where they seem more appropriate. The 2700k 5w is perfect to me as a halogen replacement. They are listed as 320lm, but to me LED light comes off as a little harsher, so it works out being lower output.
LEDs flicker but Halogen works fine. Moved into an apartment that has MR16 bulbs on the ceiling. A total of 7. Replaced them with 5W Leds and it started flickering. If I use one halogen and 6 LEDs, it doesn't flicker and works fine. The lights have a dimmer switch but i don't want to use it or I keep it on full brightness only.
